An Overdue Update...

I've been a terrible blogger...time seems to pass by so quick. I remember being a kid thinking that the days passed by so slowly, now that im older im really wishing i could savor the day more.

Summer is passing by quickly. Kaylen has made his rounds over his Summer break spending a couple weeks up in LA with his grandma and then another week with his Nana.  School will be starting up in the next couple weeks for him, I really cant believe that i will have a 5th grader  on my hands.  I try and think about myself at that age, i can remember my school and friends and things we would do.  It makes me sad that my son is growing up so quickly, but so proud of you person he is becoming every day.

I haven't been able to do as much as i'd like to over the Summer with my boys...but we did:

Go to Legoland...
     Explore the Strawberry Fields...
Go to the Movies and see Captain America...
                Spend days at the pool...
                       Visit with Family...
Go to an Angels Baseball Game and Ludacris Concert...
Visit the San Diego County Fair...

After listing it all...it does seem like we've done a bit, but im not very satisfied, lol...i always feel like so much of the day is taken away being at work, i guess i kinda miss being home with my kids.  Anyhow...next on the list would be a beach trip, we haven't been to the beach yet this summer.  Maybe this weekend we'll plan to make that happen, build sandcastles and maybe i can work on my tan a bit ;)

In Justice news he is just growing a rocket speed. He is talking soooo much and mimicks other people.  He's top frazes as of late are "Wow", "Yea Buddy", "NOW!!!", "dont say that", "ima tell mom", and " Cool". I love watching him and i see so much of myself in him.  He's a thinker, he watches people and then will try things for himself, he's meticulous about how things are done and how he likes things, he doesn't like being dirty and he can watch his favorite movies over and over, he's independent and likes to do things himself (the latest "i do it" is putting himself in his high chair or car seat and fastening his seat belt).  He's growing up so fast but he is so amazingly smart. I really feel blessed to have two kids that are absolutely amazing.

As for myself...Life is Hectic.

Work drains me and i find myself with little energy to create and be crafty. Im still trying to put together some scrapbooks and want to dedicate more time to it. I also have on my wish list the need for a new sewing machine.  Mine broke and i've had so many ideas of things i want to do and just haven't been able to without my machine.  But i'll be sharing my finished products as soon a i get some energy and time! Being a working mommy is hard! Kudos to my momma and all the other working Mommys with multiple kids...its a tough job balancing work, kids and time for yourself.  But im determined ;)

You only have one life to live and none of us are promised tomorrow. So we must embrace life, embrace ourselves and those we love most...
