Sometimes others say it so much better...

In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony.
- Eva Burrows

Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible -- the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family.
-Virginia Satir

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
--Mahatma Gandhi

"I'm pretty but I'm not beautiful
I sin but I'm not the devil
I'm good but I'm not an angel"
— Marilyn Monroe

Tolerance comes of age. I see no fault committed that I myself could not have committed at some time or other.

Lots of Exciting New Things

So much good news, i dont know where to start.

Firstly, my sister got married this past Saturday and the day was beautiful. Blue skies and gorgeous scenery and the bride and groom looked stunning. So happy for the two of them as well as to be able to be a part of their special day. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Loewy!

The day after her wedding we were scheduled to move into our new place. We had tons of help and we're so appreciative of it because we couldn't have done it without our amazing friends and family. Both of our boys were happy to have their own rooms.  We set up the toddler bed for Justice and he spend the first night in it all night without complaining. He fell of the bed once, but got back in and slept the rest of the night...
2nd night looked like this...

if you cant tell...thats him UNDER the bed. Its a work in progress, haha...but Kaylen is happy to have privacy and some peace and quiet in his own space and Justice likes his new room too.

My husband and i are still unpacking, with full time jobs it makes it a little harder to get done but we hope to be all settled within a couple weeks. I'll post pics once we have everything in order, however we love our new place and its unique decor/design.  Cant wait to make it feel more like home.

Lastly on the list of updates is news that I PASSED MY NOTARY EXAM!!! Im super excited. I've been so nervous for the past couple weeks about it, so its such a relief! Soon i'll be able to take care of some of the signings at work as well as after hours so i can bring in some extra income.

Many blessing on the forefront for me and my family.

So thankful for it all!

Moving right along...

A lot of events are approaching fast and im making the preparations for them.  I took my notary exam this past Saturday which was another item to check off my list. It will be a beneficial tool for me at work as well as a good second income to help out when i need some extra cash for the month. I'll find out how i did in two weeks, i feel pretty good about it though...the countdown begins for the results.

My sisters wedding is fast approaching and her bridal shower is this weekend. I've taken on a lot this past month while working full time so i dont feel i've been the "best" Matron of Honor but i got some things up my sleeve. I've planned a day out for her bridal shower, she's pregnant so i thought to keep it relaxing and enjoyable.  I really hope she likes it. I went out this past weekend to buy the items i will need to make her wedding towel cake.  Cant wait to see how it comes out, pictures to follow when i get that accomplished, which will be in the next couple days.

Lastly is my move. Its all been keeping me quite busy.  Packing is definately something i have been procrastinating on. I HATE HATE HATE how messy my house is with the boxes all over the place, it will definately be a breath of fresh air to have all of our belongings in our new place, unpacked and settled.  I do need to get it done though as i've been putting it off and only packing a box or two here and there.  With all the extras i have going on i have only 9 days available to me to finish packing the rest of my home...LOL typical me.  My mom and sister came out a couple weeks ago to help, which was sooo nice.  Now to get on the ball.

Cant forget to mention Valentine's Day! I came home from work to find my sexy husband in the kitchen cooking me dinner, another surprise came when i went upstairs to start packing things in our room to find a dozen long stemmed roses and a box of chocolates with the sweetest card.  He definately made me feel very special. Dinner, Wine, Roses and Chocolate....he's amazing =) Once i get settled i hope to get back into some projects. Sewing, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, Photography and DEFINATELY some decorating!!

Wedding, Moving & Decorating

My mind is on overload lately with upcoming events in my life. My sister is getting married and i am moving into a new place. Both events have drawn out the decorative/creative side that i dont get to embrace much.  My brain is flowing with different ideas for throwing my sister a Bridal Shower and the cute decorative things i can do for her.  Amongst the wedding is the excitement of my husband and i moving into a new place. The closer we get to the move in date the more excited i get because this place is not your typical boxy looking apartment/townhome. The owner was soooo creative with her design from painting the walls to the sinks she chose for the bathrooms.  I cant wait to spice it up with all the different things i have in mind and see how it all comes together.  15 days till the wedding 16 days till move in....iy yi yi. LOL.

Creative.Thoughts.Waiting.To.Be.Expressed

Being a wife and a mom is amazing, yet there is so much more to me as a person and it's so easy to get lost amongs it all. This is what led me to create a blog, so i can capture and share what sparks my interest and maybe learn a little something along the way.  I can be complicated, a little scattered from time to time, but amongst that comes a mind full of ideas and creative thoughts waiting to be expressed....here you will take a peak into my life, my heart....my destiny.
